The month of October raises awareness for Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) with ‘Shocktober’. “For every minute that cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is delayed, survival decreases by 10 per cent. But when a patient receives CPR and a shock from an automated external defibrillator (AED) before paramedics arrive, their chance of survival more than doubles” (Ambulance Victoria, 2024).

ZOLL’s Real CPR: Using accelerometer technology, a sensor inside ZOLL’s CPR electrodes captures the rate and depth of each compression.
